UTK Events (Unite The Kingdom) was created to give UK citizens a platform to come together, connect, and stand united during a period of significant national change. We are driven by the belief that a strong country is built on an informed, engaged, and united population. Founded on the principle of By the People, For the People, UTK Events is not owned by corporations or controlled by political institutions. Our focus is the people of the United Kingdom and the impact that policies, governance, and social change have on everyday life or freedom, identity, and open debate.

We help veterans and families who are struggling with their finances and living arrangements.

This could include:

helping people work out what benefits they’re entitled to, or helping people

apply for the War Pension. 

Refuge is the largest specialist domestic abuse organisation in the UK.

On any given day our services support thousands of survivors, helping them to overcome the physical, emotional, financial and logistical impacts of abuse and rebuild their lives free from fear.

There’s no need to feel alone

Sadly, too many vulnerable housebound older people in our local communities spend days alone without seeing another human being and only the television for company. Their weekly Age Connects volunteer visitor may be the only person they see, talk to and who
brings vital supplies.

All animals deserve our kindness, whether they live in homes, farms, labs, or in the wild. We speak up for them, protect them, rescue and care for them – with you by our side.

•  We change lives by investigating reports of cruelty and neglect as well as rescuing animals when they need us the most.

• We change laws.  Together with our supporters, we use our collective voice to speak up for animals.

• We work with industries to end cruel practices that cause harm to animals. We push for a kinder farming system with RSPCA Assured.

Aberdeen Foyer is a charitable organisation supporting over 2300 people a year in North East Scotland towards independent living, learning and work.  

We exist to create positive and lasting change working alongside people experiencing tough life challenges and the wider system to address and prevent the root causes of poverty and youth homelessness across local communities in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
